27th IMEKO TC4 International Symposium, September 15-17, 2025, Zagreb, Croatia
Electrical Measurements in the Quantum, Digital and Energy storage world

On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is a great honour and pleasure to invite you to the 27th IMEKO TC4 International Symposium which will be held in Zagreb, Croatia, on September 15-17, 2025. This is the second time that Zagreb and Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FER) of the University of Zagreb is hosting this prestigious TC4 event, after the first one was held in 2002, in the nice and beautiful capital city of the Republic of Croatia.

The main goal of this Symposium is to promote further collaboration between the researchers from Universities and Faculties with metrology experts from National Metrology Institutes from all around the Globe, forming the very strong platform for the transfer of technological innovations to the application in industry, fulfilling the stakeholder needs and developing even new areas and fields. By sharing the ideas, scientific knowledge and pushing the limits over and over, this common effort of wide community is, at the end, devoted to better quality of our lives.

Technical Committee TC4 of the International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO) is particularly oriented to the theoretical grounds and practical implementations of the measurements of electrical quantities, relaying on deep understanding of the measuring techniques, modern information and communication technologies, and digitalization as an inevitable part of sophisticated electronic instruments. In the search for utmost accuracy, quantum laws are implemented and followed, directly connecting the direct current and alternate current fields.

Following these attitudes for this Symposium we defined three Special sessions with up-to-date themes: the first one is devoted to Quantum world and is guided by IMEKO TC25 Quantum Measurement and Quantum Information, the second is devoted to Digitizers, and the third one is devoted to Energy Storage. We hope that these Special sessions will give better insight to these intriguing fields and answers on many open issues.

We invite you to submit a full paper of up to 4 pages (please, see Authors Instruction), which will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Accepted papers will be assigned for oral or poster presentation, and will be published in the Proceedings of the Symposium and indexed in the Scopus??, etc. T . However, a significant number of presented works will be considered for publication in Special Issues of ELSEVIER’s Journal Measurement and ACTA IMEKO Journal??

We are confident that this Symposium is a perfect opportunity to enhance your personal and professional contacts, to share your ideas and work, and to exchange knowledge with leading worldwide experts. This is also a very nice opportunity for young researchers and Ph.D. students, to make presentations in front of a wider audience, maybe for the first time.

We hope and wish to see you in Zagreb.
